- On the first Saturday of each month, Home Depot hosts a free hands‑on craft workshop for kids. Be sure to sign up ahead of time so a kit is set aside for your little ones. You can drop in anytime between 9 a.m. and noon to pick up the kit, and your kids can build and decorate their project right in the store. Since many locations start handing out unclaimed kits later in the morning, showing up earlier gives you the best chance of getting one.
