Best Rewards Programs in 2025

There are some rewards programs that are free to join and that make it very easy for you to get free items. The points required to get something for free are generally pretty low for the below companies. To get the free item you will need to sign up, complete some basic tasks like a one question survey, and soon you will have enough points to redeem for something in their rewards store.

Here is a list of some of the best rewards programs that you should join

Eddie Bauer

Examples of items received: Lots of wool socks, multi tool card, lunchbox

Sign up for Eddie Bauer’s rewards program. A few times a year they send you $10 vouchers which can be redeemed for a handful of items that cost $10 or less or be a good discount for something a little more expensive. Multiple times during the year they also offer free shipping so be on the lookout unless of course you have a physical store nearby.

Marlboro

Examples of items received: High quality stash pack, Gift cards, BBQ grilling set, Lighter

This rewards program requires you to give more personal information such as your real name, birthday, and last 4 of your SSN. If you are comfortable with that then there are a lot of freebies you can access here. You can get around 300-350 points a month for watching a couple of 2-minute videos and answering a polling question. You can redeem rewards starting around 2000 points. There are a ton of high-quality rewards to choose from such as uber credit, backpacking gear, hammocks, lighters, dart boards, and more. They also sometimes do giveaways which have very high odds of winning. For example, I won a BBQ set worth $30 with just one entry.

Express

Examples of items received: T shirts, socks

Sign up for the Express Insiders program. After signing up there will be a few options to earn Express Cash such as linking your phone number (you can opt out after), and filling in your profile. You should be able to easily get $20-$25 of Express cash which you can then use on free item(s) from Express. It’s easier if there is a store near you to avoid shipping costs. However, there is a trick to possibly get free shipping. Add an item to your cart and wait a day or 2 and Express may send you an email with a code for free shipping.

Madewell

Examples of items received: T shirts, Beanie Hats

Sign up for the Madewell Insiders program and select your birthday (doesn’t need to be the real one but make sure it isn’t in the same month that you sign up). On your birthday Madewell will send you a $25 off $25 code that can be used on any of their items. This code will be valid for 30 days after they send it to you. It may be hard to find an item worth $25,but you should be able to come close and only pay a dollar or two. Typically they have nice t-shirts in the sale section for around $25. You could also use the $25 towards a more expensive item .

Starbucks

Examples of items received: Free Drinks

You should definitely have a Starbucks rewards account. Make sure to enter your birthday after signing up. On your birthday you will receive a coupon in the app for a free handcrafted beverage. This can be any size so I usually get the Venti which is roughly a $6-$8 savings.

Make sure to create the account at least 7 days before your birthday and complete at least 1 transaction beforehand such as a $1 purchase. You could also play the Starbucks Starland games that occur multiple times a year, and earn stars from that for free.

You will receive a notification for the coupon sometime near your birthday and is usually good for a couple of days. Go into the store and order. Scan the coupon barcode in the app and you will get it totally free!
